Selvedge Run N°7 „The Essence“
Due to the uncertain legal situation in Germany, I have to label this article as advertising, even if I have not received any money for it.
From 2 to 5 July 2018, the smallest fashion fair of the Berlin Fashion Week will be located in the Palais unterm Funkturm. The Selvedge Run celebrates the Spring / Summer 2019 Fashion Week under the motto “The Essence”.
With a maximum of 100 exhibitors from all over the world (very many from Japan), the Selvedge Run is still unknown to many, but it is the fair with the highest quality standards. Anyone exhibiting here must have proven himself before. At this fair, you will meet brands with history, products made from the finest craftsmanship and materials. The target group of most brands are men, but there are also a few products for women. The atmosphere is very relaxed among the local people and whoever wants to, can enjoy the food from the food trucks outside in front of fountains in deckchairs to talk to each other.
Noodles&Noodles
The stands of the fair were equipped by the furniture company Noodles&Noodles, which has existed since the 90s and specialized in furniture in the industrial style and produce not only home furnishings for shops, but also for the home.
Coupérier-Coursolle
These small but fine motif knives, which are still made from the 200-year-old bronze models, are still produced today by the same family manufactory. The details of love in love motivate every lover’s heart for traditional craftsmanship.
Passion France
Passion France has discovered and corrected many seemingly insignificant little mistakes in the design of traditional Laguiole knives. From an inconspicuous notch on the blade and a small stick that prevents blunting of that blade, to an improved corkscrew that greatly simplifies the cork-pulling process, and another notch to make it easier to extract that corkscrew.
And unlike industrially manufactured knives, the ornamental patterns are not stamped on the assembly line, but individually incorporated by hand. This visible difference makes it clear that every knife manufactured by Passion France is a lovingly handcrafted one-of-a-kind piece.

De Rossi is the new Italian retails label by DNA Groove founder Claudio De Rossi, who produces authentic men’s clothing of the 20’s in the style of the highest quality natural materials in Spain.
